Piano Alma Mater (copyright 1999) was written for performance at a high school graduation ceremony. This includes:
Section A (0:00-0:47) - Simple four-part harmony;
Section B (0:48-3:16) - In the style of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata; and
Section C (3:17-4:05) - Four-part harmony with a moving bass line.
Variations on Annie Lisle (copyright 2024) was written for concert band and includes:
Section A (0.00-0:52) - Brass choir in a marching style;
Section B (0:53-1:44) - Saxophone quintet (in 3/4 time);
Section C (1:45-2:18) - An alternate melody in a drums-and-fifes style;
Section D (2:19-2:54) - The main theme in the same style;
Section E (2:55-3:36) - The alternate melody (from Section C) played against the main theme (from Section D);
Section F (3:37-4:49) - A low brass choir performing in a minor key;
Section G (4:50-5:23) - An upbeat and synchopated section (using 7/8 and 5/8 time signatures);
Section H (5:24-7:10) - A second alternate melody, played as an interlude;
Section I (7:11-7:30) - A brief transitional bridge;
Section J (7:31-8:16) - The full band performing the main theme; and
Section K (8:17-8:50) - A concluding tag.
